It came as a surprise to me when I heard that Sheila Maguire, the fiddle player, had moved back to NYC! We were fortunate to have had the opportunity to play with her when she was out here. Its A Drummers Life!

Drummers usually have a pretty easy life. No chords to memorize, they get to sit down during the gig, and usually (for some unknown reason) babes are always attracted to them. Here is a pic of a hard at work Peter Mott during our last weeks gig in Chandler. Its tough to play drums while handling an Appletini, yet Pete continues to devote his life to developing this much needed skill….

Scotland 6 Faroe Islands 0

Scotland got their Euro 2008 campaign of to a blistering start in Glasgow today by beating those monsters of international soccer – The Faroe Islands by 6 goal to nil.

Now that we have got this tough game over with we only have to navigate the slightly less treacherous waters of (World Cup finalists) Italy and France so that we can qualify for the finals to be held in Austria/Switzerland in 2008.
